Quarrell Civil Construction tendered successfully for a major new development that extends on a highly successful year for the business.

A $5 million redevelopment of Echuca’s riverfront is now underway and it will see the area transformed into an accessible, visually attractive community space.

The area is the original site of Hopwood’s punt crossing and is significant in Echuca’s history. For over 100 years the community and visitors have enjoyed this riverside area.

The development re-establishes the connection of the community to the Murray River and we are proud to now have the opportunity to play a role in such a significant body of work for the local community.

The project is anticipated to be completed in December 2019.
